Who We Are:

Crimson Orchid is a small family owned business based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is proudly owned as a partnership between the mother and daughter team of Debbie (mom) and Jenny (daughter) Waddington, although husband/father (Joe) and other family members are heavily involved. We officially started the business on January 1, 2007 and haven’t looked back since.  Although we currently work “day” jobs and run Crimson Orchid as a hobby business, our personal goal is to move to it on a full time basis, while always maintaining our quality, service and pride in what we do.

At Crimson Orchid Designs, we specialize in hand crafted stitch markers and row counter bracelets for the knitting and crochet obsessed. We also are known for our stunning crystal creations made with Swarovski and Czech crystals, as well as our passion for the intrinsic healing properties of gemstones. We take great care and attention with all we make and pride ourselves on creating happy, repeat customers.

We also recently added handmade lampwork glass beads by Jenny and also diversified and opened a new division – Crimson Orchid Supply for the many crafters looking to create their own unique items.
